Experience the beating
heart for energy and
mobility.

Data becomes music.

Electric triggers that sometimes shoot through your body 60, 80 or even 170 times a minute. They really get the heart going.
This data can reflect relaxation as well as excitement.
Signs of life.
Data is often impossible to understand because there can be so many zeros and ones, bits and bytes, series and algorithms. It only becomes useful information once it has been analysed. Heijmans uses data to make its work better, smarter and more sustainable.

How great would it be if concrete, bricks, metal and asphalt also had a heartbeat? You could just place your finger on the pulse to see how things are going. For instance, is everything going as expected, and is there enough energy?

Making health, energy and innovation tangible. Artist and producer LudoWic is helping us to accept this challenge. He translates data from our cold, technical infrastructure into a warm heartBEAT.
The result: four electronic tracks that thrill our senses. Dance, feel, admire and stand still in contemplation. Listen to and recognise life!

Creating Bits & Beats

"Everyone is touched by sound and music.
When you connect the purpose of infrastructure and it’s collected data through music to reach people, everyone will become more aware of the world that we live in and the use of infrastructure we use every day."
